Am I Ever going to Blog Again?

That was a question posed to me recently.
My answer to that is, "I intend to". In fact I intended to several months ago. Seems time gets away, with all that has been going on here.
As well as the different outside projects going on, there is also the increasing issue of arthritis pain I have been dealing with, and searching for ways to alleviate the pain through natural means. For the last couple months I have been cutting down on all foods with wheat flour (except my occasional loaf of home-made sourdough bread) and all known products with added sugar. I do use honey, maple syrup, or agave nectar in limited quantities. But more about this later...

My hens are doing well, as are the turkeys, rabbits and goats. I will hopefully start updating soon. Thanks for your interest!

Great! I was just a little worried about you.

Much to my distress tomatoes and eggplant are also bad for us with Mr A as a guest. I have found that Frankincense and peppermint essential oil on the old joints helps some. Also lavender essential oil. Frankincense is not cheap but the best price for the best quality I find is at MountainRose.com. You only need 2-3 drops 2-3 times a day. Young LIving has very good quailty oils but they are very pricy. I discovered essential oils through them by using their Valor, Panaway and Peppermint oil. Very pricey. I'd suggest that you Google "Essential Oils for arthritis" and do some research on them.

Nancy and Susan, thanks for the "heads-up"..... I will look into this.
Jo, yes, so my brother tells me :) I am thinking about a possible trip across the northern states next summer, but will have to work out a lot of details for that to happen.
